Campus Audit Data: Paper Usage/Waste
The Print Shop
Estimate of 500,000 copies a month.
Double sided copying is encouraged to save money.
Virgin sheet (brand new) paper is ordered.
Already recycled paper is more expensive and less stable.
Left over paper does get recycled.
Student Survey
During the survey I found out that people are confused on whether or not St. Mary’s recycles the blue bins. Some people think those bins get recycled.

Note Book Information
*Using my notebook paper as the average for the entire school.
In the average of note book paper and hand outs during my four classes this semester. Also I counted the total pages of all the papers I had typed up during the semester on the computer. I would consider these counts to be low since I have thrown away many hand outs that I found unnecessary.
